Grateful to be selected as a finalist in the Belle Vue Arts Competition (BVAF 2024)

Creating this piece of art was a deeply personal experience for me, as it represents the culmination of years of sketching my daughter. Since the day she was born, she has been both my muse and my model, and as she has grown into a young woman, our bond has continued to shape my work. I feel incredibly fortunate to have not just a live model, but someone with whom I share a profound emotional connection. This relationship has allowed me to explore my artistic practice on a much deeper level, blending technique with emotion in ways I never anticipated. Being chosen as a finalist in this competition feels like a pivotal moment, where both my personal journey and my craft intersect.
